Dear new Jamison Jet,

Welcome to Jamison! I am SO excited to meet you. My name is Mrs. Petersen, and I will be your teacher this year.

Here is a little about me: I taught Kindergarten through third grade for 17 years in Flemington, New Jersey. I resigned to teach closer to home and spend more time with my family. This is my sixth-year teaching Kindergarten at Jamison. My family includes my two children, Liam (16) and Katie (13), who attend CB South and Tamanend, along with my husband and our cat named Lucky. We live in Warrington, and enjoy vacationing at the Jersey Shore, swimming, reading, and watching Phillies and Eagles games.

During the first few weeks of school, we will get to know each other, and you will make many new friends. We will become comfortable with our daily routine and talk about our summer memories. I have already planned some exciting activities for us, so get ready to learn and have FUN!

To help us get organized at the beginning of our year together, please bring the following items to the Kindergarten Orientation or during the first week of school:

• 1 large traditional backpack with a side pocket for water bottle (no wheels please)
• Your bus tag (You will receive this at Kindergarten Orientation)
• 1 Pack of 16 Crayola crayons
• 1 White 3-ring binder (1 inch) with front vinyl view pocket (Memory Book)
• 3 jumbo glue sticks
• 2 low odor dry erase markers
• Headphones in a Ziploc bag labeled with your name (no ear buds, please)
• Students A-L (last name): Box of tissues
• Students M-Z (last name): Clorox wipes
• Your BIGGEST smile
