Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Rudolph

Dear Second Grader,

Welcome to second grade!  My name is Ms. Rudolph and I will be your Second Grade teacher. I am very excited to have ALL of you as part of my class and I hope you are just as excited to be in second grade because second graders rock!

In second grade you will make new friends, learn a lot, and have a lot of fun!  We will read and write many wonderful stories, poems, and letters.  We will learn multiplication, telling time, and counting money. We will also learn all about our community, rocks and minerals, and habitats.  We will play learning games, do science experiments, use computers AND iPads!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I LOVE teaching! I have been at Butler for the past 23 years! During that time, I have taught kindergarten, first and second grade. I love second grade! I love to read and I can’t wait to share books with you. I also love to run! Over the summer, I run almost every day and enjoy exploring many new places to run! I also love football (go Giants!) and going to the beach!

I have five children of my own! In the fall, Chloe, the oldest, will be in her last semester at American University in Washington, D.C. Chloe loves to read and travel. My two oldest boys are named Brad and Jake. Jake will be in 11th grade this year- he just got his driver’s license! Brad just graduated from Souderton High School and will be attending The University of Pittsburgh in the fall! Both boys love swimming, going to the beach, and spending time with their friends. They also love playing video games. My youngest daughter, Rachel, turns 10 in July and will be starting fifth grade soon. Rachel loves gymnastics and swimming. The youngest member of our family is Gabe. He will be 9 next Halloween. Gabe loves Legos, Minecraft and playing Fortnite on his iPad.

I can’t wait to learn all about you, your family, and what you like! I look forward to seeing you in August!

Your Second Grade Teacher,

Ms. Rudolph
