Every August, I become more and more excited as the new school year approaches.  I always look forward to meeting my new class and learning all about my second graders.  I like my students and parents to know a little bit about me too.

I grew up in Buckingham where I graduated from Central Bucks East High School.  I live in Doylestown with my husband, two daughters, Emily and Danielle, and our dog, Duke.  I've been teaching in the Central Bucks School District since 1990 and have been lucky enough to enjoy the warmth and community of Gayman Elementary.  During my teaching years, I have taught Kindergarten, first, second, and third grade and truly appreciate all the enriching and positive experiences each grade has held.
I graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in elementary education.  After graduation, I immediately began substituting in Central Bucks and found my first teaching position here at Gayman as a second grade teacher.  I then began my graduate work at Arcadia University where I received my Masters in Education with a concentration in Language Arts.
I love to read and believe strongly in helping students to find and nurture their own unique talents and interests.  When I'm not reading, you can find me on the beach swimming with my daughters, walking our dog, or biking with my husband.  I also love to watch my favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles!
I am looking forward to getting to know your child and having a SINNsational school year!
