    Task: Have a class discussion and see how everyone is doing in the class. Give everyone an opportunity to get familiar with the Teams App. Discuss with the students why we are all home and review the News-2-You Coronavirus Story.

    Independent Living

    Estimated Time: 45 minutes

    Meal Prep Idea-Make this for lunch today: https://flipgrid.com/2d958094 (Enter your child’s FlipGrid ID to access site). If you do not have the ingredients for this meal, make something that you have in your kitchen. Answer questions on what you made for lunch. (See attached in e-mail)   

    Method of Communication: Respond back with a video on FlipGrid with what you made for lunch.   

    Vocational/Employability

    Overview- Load and Unload the dishwasher

    Task- Have your child practice loading and unloading the dishwasher. They need to follow the steps to putting the silverware, cups and plates in the correct location, adding dish detergent, and turning on the dishwasher. Once the dishwasher is done its cycle, your child needs to unload the dishwasher and put everything in the correct location in the kitchen. Provide initial directions for your child and then step back and let them problem solve and ask you questions if they are unsure of what to do.   

    Modified activity- Sort Silverware (knives, forks, spoons) into correct location in the silverware drawer.  

    Method of Communication- Send a picture or video of your child practicing this task.
