• Lego Build Challenge

Hello Brick Masters!  If you have come to this page it is because you LOVE building with bricks as much as I do.  I am going to post a lego build challenge on this page that students in grades 1 - 6 can participate in creating.  I will change the build every week.

Once you create your build, please ask someone at home to take a picture and email it to me at mjaeger@cbsd.org.  If you have access to Seesaw you can post that way too!

These are completely optional activities - just something that lets us use our imagination, tap into our creativity, and let's us have fun while we are at home.

Week 4 - Lego Build Challenge

This week's challenge is to create an adventure scene with your LEGOs. Think about an exciting location you would like to visit and transform it into an adventure scene.  Think of adding enchanted objects or beings, a hero, a powerful villian, and details from the setting. There are no limits to what you create for this challenge.  Consider adding voice or a text box to your scene, describing the events taking place.

  • WELCOME TO THE QUEST DISTANCE LEARNING CLASSROOM

There are a few options for you to you select from.

    1. Option 1: A non-technology option that is hands on and may require you to plan with a sketch and to build a final product with materials in your home.
    2. Option 2: A technology option that will require students to work on the computer to complete a task.
    3. Option 3:  A LEGO challenge which has its own page under my Distance Learning tab.  This is asks students to read LEGO adventure story and complete a build.

Feel free to choose the option that works best for you.  If it is just not possible to engineer today, that is fine too!  Do what is best for your family.

If any of my engineers would like to share their projects, ideas, and/or creations, please feel free to use the email mjaeger@cbsd.org to send their celebrations to me!

I have also set up a FlipGrid account for the QUEST classroom. Use this grid to post your plans, ideas, creations, and/or coding games.  Directions are below.
