    • Overview
      • Students will complete a journal reflection on their experience being at home and interacting with distance learning. 
      • Students will read an argumentative article, identify the two persepctives of the article, and make their own opinion of the topic. 
    • Time - 30 minutes 
    • Explanation 
      • You will be completing a weekly journal entry where you reflect on each day of the distance learning. There are prompts to help guide your response, or you can respond with anything that you would like to write about. 
      • You will practice the argumentative steps with an article that is interesting to you.

      • Log into Scope and go to the debate or debate scavenger hunt articles
      • choose an article that in interesting to you and read the article (remember it can read it to you) 
      • Download and complete the argumentative worksheet that outlines the topic and your opinion 
      • Upload the worksheet to Canvas
      • Participate in the group discussion sharing your article and thinking.
