Reading
Estimated Time: 45 – 60 minutes
Overview: Read a story using your reading strategies. You will be implementing your decoding skills and applying reading strategies, as good readers do.
Assignment: In your packet or complete Seesaw
Pick a story to read at home. Think about a character trait for a character. Write one
character trait on the “Character Trait” graphic organizer in your packet or on Seesaw. Examples of character traits: brave, confident… Then give evidence from text- write one supporting detail.

Social Studies/Science
Estimated Time:45 -60 minutes (Homeroom Class)
Overview: Read about granite and how much we get from other countries.
Assignment: In your packet
Do the chart on the Granite Imports and answer the questions on the paper. Then answer and discuss the following with your family:
Do you think the location of the granite impacts its use?
Do you have granite in your house?
Online Resources: go to pebble go and read about rocks and minerals on BrainPOP, Jr.
Misc.
You can go on Tying Agent to work on your typing as well
