Overview: Practice comparing and order numbers to 1000
Find patterns within numbers (identify the patterns 2, 5, 10, etc)
Compare numbers as greater than, less than, or equal to
Assignment: Complete pages for DAY 2 in your packet, count with your family, and practice your basic facts
Estimated Time for 3 Activities: Approximately 45 minutes

- If you do not have the supplied worksheets or access to any of the worksheets, it is fine to create your own based off the supplied worksheets.
- More specific directions are provided on each sheet/activity that goes along with these lessons. I will send these sheets through email.
Activity 1:
Overview: Practice comparing numbers using terms greater than and less than; You will order 3-digit numbers; You will identify number patterns.
Explanation: You will compare and order 3-digit numbers.
Tasks:
- Compare the given numbers. Check the box if the sentence is correct. Directions are provided on the sheets emailed to you.
- Compare numbers to circle the greatest or least number.
- Compare numbers write if they are greater than or less than to make the sentence true.
Extra: Only do this activity if you want more practice.
- Use greater than or less than symbols to make sentences true.

All assignments will be collected when students return to school. Keep your work in your “Distance Learning” folder until that time.

Overview: Continue working and writing your SIGHT WORDS and making flash cards
Assignment: Cut out your words for unit 2. Complete activities for Unit 2. You can pick two activities or complete all of them.

Reading
Estimated Time: 45 – 60 minutes
Overview: Read a story using your reading strategies. You will be implementing your decoding skills and applying your questioning technique, as good readers do.
Assignment: Pick a story to read at home or listen to a story.
Pick one of the activites.
*Complete the Venn diagram graphic organizer in your packet. Compare and Contrast two characters. Write 1-2 differences on the outer part and 1-2 similarities in the inner part in complete sentences.
* Visualize- Draw a picture of your favorite part of the story. Write one sentence sharing your favorite event.
Online Resources: Go to BookFlix and listen to a story .
Social Studies/Science
Estimated Time: 45 minutes (Homeroom class)
Overview: You will learn about fossils and how they can tell/teach us about the history of our land.
Assignment: Do the second reading on fossils and answer the questions
Discuss with your parent how this is similar to yesterday’s reading
Misc.
You can go on Tying Agent to work on your typing as well
