      • Students will complete a journal reflection on their experience being at home and interacting with distance learning. 
      • Students will create a collage of words that reflect this time and are meaningful to them using a wordle program.

      • You will be completing a weekly journal entry where you reflect on each day of the distance learning. There are prompts to help guide your response, or you can respond with anything that you would like to write about. 
      • You will reflect on this time and what has been important to you, how you are feeling, etc.

      • Students will create a survival kit for the character in our class novel using their experience and their knowledge of the characters.
    • Time - 30 minutes 
    • Explanation
      • We have made multiple connections with the main character of our novel and used our own experiences to connect with him. For this activity, you will continue this connection with the character.  
      • After you had made your connections, you will participate in a discussion with your peers to try our best to replicate an in-class discussion.
