• FRIDAY JUNE 5, 2020

Happy June! I am so excited that today, as a county, are able to move into the yellow phase! We have done so well at social distancing, flattening the curve, and helping our community stop the spread of CoVid 19. Although many things we like to do will remain closed until the green phase, the stay at home order has been lifted! I am thankful to be able to see my friends and family again under certain cirumstances. Below is what the yellow phase means for us. However, during this time, as people start to venture out of their homes, it is still critical to continue handwashing and practice safe social distancing, which we've become pro's at over the last few months. Here to (almost) summer, sunshine, and a little bit more freedom. Stay safe, Lenape!

I think I speak for most of us when I say that sleep is one of our favorite things! We love it and we need it to survive! We also need sleep to fight off illness, feel happy and less anxious, use our brain power to get through our set tasks for the day, and make good, clear decisions. Although we have this time at home to catch up on sleep, it's important to put ourselves on a similiar schedule as we were on before the quarantine. Lenape, I understand the challenges we face together as we practice social distancing. I empathize with all of you when I say I too, wish I could see my friends and family during this closure. The Pennsylvania Department of Health strongly encourages that we truly practice social distancing or else this tactic to stop the spread will not work. Please keep in mind that although you may not be visibly sick, you are still able to contribute to the spread of coronavirus. Please make every effort to avoid hanging out with your friends and sleeping over eachothers houses during this time.
