    OPTIONAL Day 10 READING ACTIVITY:

    1. Finish reading your chapter book.  Congratulations!!! You finished your chapter book!
    2. Talk to someone about what happened at the end of the story.
    3. Free Choice Reading Response: Complete any box on the Friday Reading Response Bingo Board OR post a video of yourself on SeeSaw sharing a book summary and review (What was the book about?  Characters?  Setting? Problem? Solution? What life lesson can we learn from this story?  Did you like the story?  Why or why not?)
    4. Take a picture of your completed reading response and upload it to SeeSaw or email it to me OR post your video to SeeSaw.

    2. Talk to someone about what happened in the chapter. Share the events.  How is Robbie feeling?  What is Robbie’s problem in this chapter?  If you could give Robbie advice, what would you say?

    Quick Things to Know: See the directions below to log into Newsela.  Our class code is QN4XN2.  We will be using the same article for a few days and completing different activities with the text every day.

    Tasks:

    1. Go to Newsela.com
    2. Sign in with your information (username/password same as computer login)
    3. Find the same article as yesterday (or search “wedding llama” to see a funny new article!)
    4. Choose reading level (400L-750L)
    5. Reread the article.
    6. Under the Activities tab (on the right near the top), click on “Quiz”. There are four questions. Take the quiz. You can look back in the article if you need to.  Your score will be shared on my teacher account.  Good luck!

    7. BEFORE YOU READ the full article, think of 3 questions you have about the article that you hope will be answered as you read. Type your questions under the Activities tab on Newsela under “Write” and submit them to me.
    8. Read the article and think about your questions. We will come back to them tomorrow.
