- Students will review reminders of Email Etiquette and practice sending an email
- Time - 30 minutes
- Explanation
- You will be completing a weekly journal entry where you reflect on each day of the distance learning. There are prompts to help guide your response, or you can respond with anything that you would like to write about.
- You will be reviewing a powerpoint on email etiquette, as this is a life skill and a tool you may be using throughout distance learning, and you will be sending an email to me to practice.
- Things to Know
- Everything is on your canvas page. There is a module called Distance Learning. It is organized by day with all of your materials as subpages under each day.
- Tasks
- Download, save (to your ELA-A), and complete day 1 of your weekly journal entry
- Review email powerpoint and send an email to your teacher with the specific email.

- Students will review elements of summaries and practice using a Pixar Short
- Time - 30 minutes
- Explanation
- We have been writing summaries throughout the year. This is a review using a Pixar short. You will need to download and save the document on Cavnas in order to type in it. Please save it to your ELA-B folder. The worksheet has the summary graphic organizer for you to complete and then refer to when you type your summary paragraph. You are then going to upload your submission through Canvas.

- Overview
- Students will be reviewing the last lesson we completed by working on problems through IXL. The two recommended lessons you will be completing are properties of operations and multiplying by the distributive property.

- Explanation
- These two activities will have you completing problems based on the last lessons we learned. We needed extra practice with both of these skills. We were going to have a quiz on Friday, so this will help you review.
