Hello and welcome to my teacher's page!

My name is Cynthia Meyers, and I am an ELD Specialist at Tamanend Middle School. I started my teaching career by teaching Read to Suceed in the Palisades school District in 2001. I received my Masters degree in Education from Lehigh University in 2001 and my ELD Specialist certificate in 2019. I have 8 years of experience working in ELD classrooms in the Central Bucks School District. I started out working at Groveland Elementary, where I spent five years. Then, I taught ELD classes at Tohickon Middle School for the past three years. This will be my first year working at Tamanend and I am very excited to expand the ELD department to a new middle school in the district! I have a wonderful husband and three teenaged sons who keep me very busy when I am not teaching. I love to share my love of reading and learning with my students on a daily basis. I love spending my days crafting interesting ways to make learning a new language FUN!
