    Please know that as of April 6, 2020, we will be moving into Phase 2 of our Distance Learning Model.  Work completion will be mandatory, and students will be graded on a pass/fail system until we return to school.

    Estimated Time: 30 minutes

    Your tasks:

    1. Log onto Newsela, and make sure you join the new class. It is called Distance Learning. You can join the class using the code: ZTGC52 or link: https://newsela.com/quickjoin/#/ZTGC52

    2. Go to the assigned articles for that class. Pick one article and begin reading!

    3. When you are finished reading, complete the “Quiz”. Make sure to go back in the article to find the answers.

    4. Complete the writing assignment for the article. Remember that your response should be 3-5 COMPLETE sentences.

           Some of you have been doing an AWESOME job with the written responses. I am very impressed by the level of detail used               from the text to support the responses. Keep up the good work!
