    PHASE 2 - DISTANCE LEARNING

    Welcome to Phase 2 of our Distance Learning Plan in Central Bucks. I hope that everyone was able to utilize yesterday to test out all of the technology platforms we will be utilizing throughout this plan. If you have questions/concerns, I can most certainly help. At this point, I have already sent a few emails regarding the plan in learning support. I will do my best to detail it below per grade level. 

     

    VIRTUAL LEARNING SCHEDULE

     

    4TH GRADE STUDENTS

    READING - this week, please continue to complete BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE. The comprehension packet and books will be collected once we return to school. Next week, you will begin to see "live" videos. I will most likely push these videos via your classrom SeeSaw account. If not, we will use TEAMS. These videos will focus on a specifi comprehension skill each week. Along with the video, your child will also receive a few paragraphs and a book via the Reading A-Z website. All materials will be due by Thuesday evening. Next week will certainly be a work in progress, so please do not stress. 

     

    SCIENTIFIC SPELLING - word lists will be emailed directly to you each week, along with a spelling choice board. Your child should complete one activity each day, based on the rule and the ten words provided. I only need a copy of one activity each week. This can be sent to me via email at tfitzgerald@cbsd.org. 

     

    SOCIAL SKILLS - lessons will begin next week and should be completed each Friday. These lessons can also be emailed to me at the above address. They can also be shared via TEAMS or SeeSaw. 

     

    3RD GRADE STUDENTS

    READING - please continue to complete the chapter books that were individually assigned. The comprehension packet and books will be collected once we return to school. Next week, you will begin to see "live" videos. I will most likely push these videos via your classrom SeeSaw account. All work can be completed and sahred via SeeSaw. You will post your work to Miss Kreppel's SeeSaw account to make things easier. I will post under her account as well, since I am a coteacher in her classroom. I am trying to save everyone the hassle of goign back and forth between two SeeSaw accounts. 

     

    MATH - please access the instructional videos and resources through Miss Kreppel's classroom. All 3rd grade studentes were working on the same skills as their general education peers. We just did so in a small group setting. All resources and lessons would be the same.

     

    WRITING - since all 3rd grade studetns were included for writing, you should also be accessing Miss Kreppel's classroom for direct instruction and assignements. I AM HERE TO SUPPORT your child if needed. We can discuss assignements and midifications as need be. 

     

    SOCIAL SKILLS - lessons will begin next week and should be completed each Friday. These lessons can also be emailed to me at the above address. They can also be shared via TEAMS or SeeSaw.
