Allison Kuchler, Director of Special Education
Allison Kuchler began her service as Director of Special Education for the Central Bucks School District in July 2019.
Prior to that, she joined CB as a supervisor of special education in June 2016. She oversaw K-12 life skills support, K-12 regional learning support, and 7-12 autistic support for students who take the PSSA/Keystone Exams. In January 2019, Allison became the building-wide supervisor of special education for Lenape Middle School and CB West High School.
Prior to working in Central Bucks, she worked as a supervisor of special education for Centennial School District, a special education teacher at Lower Moreland High School, and a special education teacher at Philadelphia Academy Charter School. Ms. Kuchler holds her Special Education Supervisory Certification from Penn State University, a K-12 principal certification from Temple University (pending August 2019), courses leading to an autism endorsement from LaSalle University, a master’s degree in Education from Arcadia University with a concentration in technology, and a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University with certifications in K-6 elementary education and N(newborn) – (age)21 in special education. She is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, The Council for Administrators of Special Education, the Pennsylvania Association for School Administrators, the PASA Women’s Caucus, and the Bucks County School Administrators Association. Ms. Kuchler is also a peer monitor for the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Special Education Cyclical Monitoring process.
Ms. Kuchler is a passionate advocate for students with disabilities and their families. She believes that all children deserve high expectations and instructional rigor. Ms. Kuchler resides in Upper Dublin Township with her son, daughter, and husband.
