Dismissal Changes
If your child is going to be taking an alternate means of transportation home on any given day, please send in a written note. If school has started, please call the office to let them know of the dismissal change. If I do not receive a note or the office does not receive a phone call, your child will go home as usual. Please do not rely on e-mail or voicemail as I may not be able to check it. If I am absent there is no means for a substitute to retrieve the message. Thank you for your cooperation! 😊
Leaving Early or Arriving Late?
Whenever students arrive late or leave early, parents must enter the change in the Parent Portal. These incidents are recorded as "excused" or "unexcused" applying the same criteria as those for full-day absences.
Helpful Tip – Once you are in the portal, you have to hit “more” in the left-hand corner and then choose “report an absence” to enter the late arrival or early dismissal.
If your child is leaving early, please pick them up prior to 3:15 PM. Thank you!
Your child may ride only the bus to which he/she has been assigned unless an Alternate Bus Stop Request has been approved. Here is the form to complete. The Central Bucks Transportation Department may approve requests for childcare or shared custody situations. A form must be submitted every year. If you have any questions, please contact the Transportation Department at 267-893-4000.
