Robert Kleimenhagen, Jr., Director of Facilities and Energy Management Operations
Robert H. Kleimenhagen Jr., CFM, SFP, began his service as the district’s Director of Facilities and Energy Management Operations (FEMO) in August 2017. The FEMO Department is responsible for the construction and renovation of facilities including the planning, maintenance, repair, capital improvement programs, and custodial operations to insure continuous operation of all facilities and educational programs. Prior to joining CBSD, he was employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission as the facilities strategic planning manager and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as the chief of facilities management.
Mr. Kleimenhagen has a Bachelor of Arts in politics from DeSales University, a Master of Arts in Political Science from Lehigh University, and obtained his Certified Facility Manager (CFM) and Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP) credentials from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). He served as president of the IFMA Central PA Chapter in 2015/2016, has served as a member of the board of directors for the IFMA Central Pennsylvania Chapter and as co-chair of the certification committee, and is a past recipient of the IFMA Central PA Chapter Facility Manager of the Year Award in 2007 and 2017, Advocate of the Year in 2009, and Committee of Year Award in 2009. All together, he has 23 years of facility management experience in the public sector, with three years dedicated to schools.
A native of Southampton in Bucks County, he has three daughters and lives in Plumstead Township with his wife and youngest daughter who is a student in the Central Bucks School District.
