THE TOP TEN THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MS. LE
(IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)
1. I grew up in Doylestown!
I was born and raised in Doylestown. I went to Doyle Elementary, Lenape Middle School, and Central Bucks West.
2. I am a Bloomsburg Huskie!
I graduated Bloomsburg University in December 2015. I have a major in Elementary Education and Special Education. I also have a minor in Educational Technology!
3. I have also attended East Stroudsburg University and Holy Family University!
I graduated December of 2020 from East Stroudsburg University. I have a Masters Degree in Reading with a Reading Specialist Certification. I also just finished my Masters +30 at Holy Family University. I have two certificates: English as a Second Language and Autism Endorsement.
4. I am a mom to the most adorable, energetic dog.
This is Jack. He is my pride and joy! He is a Bichon Frise and just 8 years old! I love taking him on long walks and taking him on car rides (which are his favorite)! I am also guilty for feeding him human food, sometimes! He sure is spoiled.
5. My favorite vacation spot is Sea Isle City, NJ.
Sea Isle has a very special place in my heart. I love relaxing at the beach, visting the shops at the Promenade, and eating at Mike's Seafood!
6. My siblings are my best friends.
I have a younger sister and brother. We are Irish triplets. This means we were born 12 months of each other. I talk to them everyday!
7. Cooking is my number one hobby!
I love to cook anything and everything. I love cooking because it is inexpensive, relaxing, and rewarding! Home-made crab cakes are my absolute favorite.
8. I have taught at three other Central Bucks Schools!
Prior to teaching at Butler, I taught 5th and 6th grade Learning Support for three years at Cold Spring Elementary. I also taught 5th and 6th grade Learning Support at Gayman for one year and 2nd and 3rd grade at Linden for one year! I am so excited to be apart of the Butler family.
9. I have an awesome husband!
My husband and I live in Conshohocken right along the Schuylkill river.
10. Teaching is my passion.
Ever since I was a little girl, all I wanted to do was become a teacher. I used to pretend play with my siblings. They would be my students and I would be their teacher. I am surprised they never got mad at me for bossing them around! It is a great feeling and so rewarding to know that I accomplished my goal. I am teaching in the district I grew up in and I couldn't be more happy and thankful!
