Meet Mrs. Schorpp
I love being an elementary school teacher! There are so many topics that I am interested in and curious about, so I chose a profession which allows me to explore a variety of subjects. I enjoy helping students grow in their skills and interests.
I am a proud graduate of Juniata College with a degree in Elementary Education. I have a Masters degree in Literacy from West Chester University and am a certified reading specialist.
History is something that I am especially interested in. I attended a teachers' week at Crow Canyon Archaeological Center in Colorado and attended Colonial Williamsburg's Teacher Institute in Virginia. I am proud that, with the help of some former students, we started an after-school history club for 5th and 6th graders at Titus. Our club gives history lovers a place to meet and expand their knowledge.
Activities that I enjoy: hiking, decorating my home for the holidays, reading, doing number and word puzzles, playing basketball, going out for dinner, visiting museums, and gardening.
