Welcome to the wonderful world of sixth grade! I look forward to the start of school and hope you had a relaxing and safe summer vacation. We are one of three sixth grade classes at Jamison Elementary School. There are 25 students in our classroom: 14 boys and 11 girls. I'm excited about starting a new school year and welcome everyone to our class. I am so proud to be your teacher this year.You'll find a lot of information about our class on this site. Bookmark it as a favorite! It's beneficial because it keeps both students and parents up to date on what we are doing in class, homework and events. The link 'Suggested Supplies' consists of a list of supplies that are optional, but they will be most helpful for the school year. You can view your academic and special schedule under the 'Schedules' link. You're also able to find out what you're learning in 6th grade by accessing the 'Subject Area' pages. Have fun exploring our website. I hope it helps all our parents become involved in student learning. Parental involvement helps students succeed in school: Parents are their children's first and most influential teachers.Please make sure you check out the links posted below. You'll find your Welcome Letter and Application to become a Safety if you're interested. I know the first week back to school is a busy time, so I also posted a Parent Questionnaire and a Student Survey to give you more time to complete it. Please complete it by September 3.
