Mr. Jeffrey Hudak

I grew up in the small town of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania located just a few minutes outside of Allentown. I spent my college years at the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in 2010. Upon graduation, I was accepted into a program called Teach For America. As a member of Teach For America, I was provided with an amazing opportunity to teach students from low-income communities in Memphis, Tennessee. During my time in Memphis, I spent four years teaching middle school social studies at Veritas College Preparatory Charter School and was honored to be selected as the 2013 Middle School Teacher of the Year by the Tennesee Charter School Association. After teaching in Memphis, I relocated back to Pennsylvania where I spent two years teaching middle school social studies in Philadelphia. I accepted a 5th grade teaching position at Gayman Elementary School in 2016. Since arriving at Gayman, I have been humbled by the supportive community of students, parents, and staff. My experience at Gayman has been nothing short of incredible, and I look forward to educating students in the years ahead!

Outside of the classroom, most of my time is spent with my wife Jessica, daughter Ella, and son Cole. I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, kayaking and hiking. My family and I are also HUGE Notre Dame football fans. Go Irish!!!
