The most wonderful aspect of who I am is that I am the mom of two amazing children, Miles and Marieke. I have been a teacher since 1995! I love to read, to travel (I've been to Costa Rica, Paris, Japan, the Netherlands, the Grand Canyon, Seattle, etc.), and to cook. My favorite color is purple. My family and I are huge Harry Potter fans and the four us (my husband, two children, and I) love to have family movie night. I am so excited to be teaching PEN and am looking forward to many years of inquiry, discovery, mindfulness, grit, creativity, and wonder.
