• Science The Science Companion program inspires students to explore their world carefully and draw accurate conclusions about it.  During science our classroom will be a collaborative learning environment where children work together in groups and share their ideas. Students will not just be asked to memorize the content, but will be "Doing Science" through inquiry based learning.  "Doing Science" is a term that the students will be asked to do throughout each unit.  Below is a picture to better explain what is meant be "Doing Science."  The third grade science units of study are Our Solar System, Motion, and Life Cycles.  Each unit is exciting in its own way and gets the children thinking.
