Information Regarding Keystone Testing

Spring Testing Information:
Literature Keystone: May 15-18 
Algebra Keystone: May 19-24
Biology Keystone: May 19-24

Students currently enrolled in English 10, Algebra 1, or Biology will test with their class.  First and Third Block will test on May 15 and 16 for Literature and May 19 and 22 for Algebra and Biology. Second and Fourth Block will test on May 17 and 18 for Literature and May 23 and 24 for Algebra and Biology.  Juniors who have not tested or who have not yet reached proficiency and who are currently scheduled for an English, Science, or Math class may be scheduled to test during this window.  These students will receive a note from Mr. Hoffman today during advisory.  Questions about retesting should be directed to your child’s house principal or current teacher.

Testing Requirements:

Note that the Pennsylvania Department of Education graduation requirements related to Keystone Exams will require students in the class of 2019 to have reached proficiency on each of the three Keystone Exams.  Students in the classes of 2017 and 2018 are required to take the assessment while enrolled in the appropriate course and are encouraged to retake the test if proficiency is not reached on the first attempt.
