I am so happy to have you join me in fifth grade, the best hallway in the building! Fifth grade is a special year where students always take big strides both academically and personally. You will learn so many new things to add to your toolbox of knowledge, such as:multiplying and dividing fractions, converting fractions to percents, writing creative essays, forms of energy, the Revolutionary War, monitoring reading comprehension, and so much more! I cannot wait to see you all grow this year!
A little bit about "school" me...
The 2023-24 school year will be my 10th year teaching fifth grade at Titus. I also taught fifth grade at Bridge Valley Elementary for one year before coming to Titus. My favorite subject to teach is math, followed closely by reading! I enjoy creating a classroom that is filled with energy, happiness, and creativity. I think that is the perfect combination for learning (and sometimes for laughing too!)
A little bit about "home" me...
My husband Pat and I have 3 boys. Paddy (13 years old) and Declan (11 years old), and Niall (5 years old). Our boys love to stay active by playing soccer, football, basketball, surfing, swimming, fishing, and bike riding. We also love watching sports - we cheer on the Eagles, Sixers, Union, Villanova Wildcats, and Phillies!
I LOVE to be at the beach, lake, or anywhere near water. I also enjoy staying active by running and my new favorite activity, pickleball. One other thing to know about me - I love to try new things, and I am always looking for a challenge - that includes challenges in the classroom, so get ready!
