Unit one is made up of a lot of material that you have been exposed to as early as elementary school.  The homework for the first unit is primarily review.  I will briefly cover all of the topics that are referred to in the packet.  I will spend more time on the sections that are starred.  It is VERY important that you have a solid base of knowledge before grappling with more complex material.  You may not have seen some of this material for a long time.  Do not hesitate to ask any questions about the material.
