Reading – Books we read together:   Don't Eat the Babysitter, I'm The Biggest Thing In The Ocean, Dogfish, Pigeon Needs a Bath, and Rainbow Fish        

Phonics  - We learned about antonyms. The children brainstormed examples of antonyms.  

Kid Writing- We created our summer bucket lists. We wrote about the places we want to go, things we want to do, and the friends we want to see over the summer. We read Dogfish. The children completed a graphic organizer about a pet they would like. They identified the type of pet they want, what they would do with the pet, what the pet would eat, and where the pet would sleep.

Math: -  Chapter 10 Sorting - the students practiced sorting items by color, shape, number, and size.
