Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Isaacsohn

Mr. I

In 1996, I graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelors degree in American Studies as well as an elementary teacher certification. During my studies I attained 180 hrs. in the classroom through student teaching as well as field experience. Additionally, I spent a semester living and studying in Adelaide, Australia. It was quite a life changing experience!

Upon graduating, I attained a job at The Woodlynde School where I taught 5th and 6th grades as well as coached varsity soccer, basketball and tennis from 1996-1999. While teaching at Woodlynde I also attended graduate school at Immaculata University where I earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration as well as an ESL certificate. While attaining my ESL certificate I had an opportunity to study abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico for a summer which was another incredible experience.

From 1999-2004, I worked outside of Boulder,Colorado where I taught 4th and 5th grades as well as continued to coach soccer both at the junior varisty and varsity levels. While teaching and coaching I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I earned my administrative principal licensure. During this time I had the amazing opportunity to take a soccer team to live and play in Argentina for 5 weeks and what an expereince it was!

Feeling the draw of home and family (I grew up in Havertown, Pa) I decided to move back to to the Philadelphia area in 2004 where I took a job in Central Bucks. From 2004-2007 I worked at Barclay Elementary School where I taught 6th grade and coached soccer at CB West. Then in 2007, I transferred to Gayman Elementary School where I have taught 4th, 5th and 6th grades. At that time, I also took a job as assistant  soccer coach for CB East High School which I held for 11 years. In 2018, I attained the Head coach position. Simply put, teaching and coaching are my passions and I get to live them each and every day. For this I am truly grateful!
