Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Leslie Klebba
Hello! Welcome and thanks for visiting our classroom website! I am Mrs. Leslie Klebba. I am looking forward to a great year working with you and your child! I have taught at Gayman Elementary for 14 years. I taught kindergarten for 6 years and I taught first grade for 7 years. I am excited to start my 2nd year in 2nd grade!
I live in Plumsteadville with my husband, Brian, and our two girls: Adalyn (10) and Josephine (8). We love our 14 year old dog, Reece and our 2 year old puppy Gertrude (Gertie)! Now our family is complete - we have a house full of girls! As a family, we enjoy going many places. We love to go for long walks around our neighborhood or at a park; you might even find us at Peace Valley riding our bikes. We also love to visit fun places: like zoos whereever we travel, parks, museums, and hiking trails. We love to swim as a family and got lots of time in the pool this summer. This summer we got to take an RV trip to Maine and we had some relaxing down time playing lots of games and hiking around enjoying the outdoors! We saw some amazing views and animals too!
It was always my dream to become a teacher and I am so happy that I am now settled in and doing what I love. When I was in third grade, I met my role model, my teacher was amazing and she truly inspired me to become a teacher because of how passionate she was about teaching. I decided then that I was going to become a teacher and go to Millersville University. That is exactly what I did and I hope to inspire my students to find what they are passionate about and follow their hearts as well! I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Millersville University. I went on to receive my Masters degree of Education from Cabrini College. I truly feel that each year just gets better and better and I look forward to a new year and getting to know a new group of super students!
