Next, we will read a News article that is a summary of what happened this year.Community Topics/Social Studies 7,8,9: Every Monday we do a weekend review. We fill out a graphic organizer to get our thoughts together before we share. Then, we share with our peers. Then, the peers get to ask us questions about our weekend. We work on our expressive, receptive language skills, and active listening. This week we discussed what interests are. We are continuing to work on learning about Ancient Greece and Athens.Math 7: In math we are working on our specific IEP goals and objectives. We are working on using our resources in order to help us solve math problems. We went over our classroom calendar. Kramer gave a copy of the calendar to each of us to keep in our math sections of our binders. We are continuing to work on problem solving and we also worked on measurement.English 9: We are working on following the steps in the writing process to become more independent writers. As a starter in English class, Kramer has us write in our journals daily. We are working on expanding our thoughts and becoming independent writers. We worked in our Wreck It Journal which is a lot of fun! We also started reviewing sequencing in our writing.
