Hi! I am Miss Patterson and I cannot wait to be your 2nd Grade teacher this year. I know we will have tons of fun and learn a lot together. Let's get this school year started. :)

 

Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I am very lucky to have had the chance to work in the Central Bucks School District for the past 14 years. I started out as a Writing Lab teacher and then went on to teach Kindergarten,1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade in five different schools. I taught 5th grade at Butler my first two years and then moved on to teach Kindergarten for the past six years. I am very excited to have switched back to 2nd grade for the upcoming school year!

 

I cannot wait to hear all about your summer when we start school. Summer is my favorite time of year and, as always, I try to squeeze in as much as I can in the weeks we have off. I travel a bit and go to the mountains and the beach. I also join a pool and go to swim on many hot, summer days! One of my favorite things to do in the summer is relax while reading a good book, so I make sure to do A LOT of that during the summer as well. Last, I spend time with my dog, Charley, by taking her for long walks and snuggling on the couch. She is a half pug/half beagle mix and I love her to pieces. You may hear MANY stories about her this school year!
