Simon Butler

     I absolutely LOVE to teach! It is a pleasure to be teaching an awesome group of third graders this year!

     I am a graduate of Penn State University where I earned undergraduate degrees in Human Development and Family Studies, Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. My time at Butler began back in 1995 when I was completing my degrees as a student teacher in a kindergarten classroom. I was fortunate enough to be hired the following semester in my own kindergarten classroom across the hall. I couldn't have asked for a better start to my teaching career!

     I have been teaching for twenty-eight years—all at Butler—and have since earned my Master’s degree in Elementary Education at Cabrini College. I went on to earn 30+ additional graduate credits to further develop my teaching skills. During that time, I have taught kindergarten, first, second, and third grade. I am excited to be teaching third grade this year!
