Welcome to Sixth Grade!
My name is Mrs. Snyder and I am your sixth grade teacher! This will be my tenth year teaching at Titus, and my fourth year teaching sixth grade. I grew up right here in Warrington and was even a student at Titus when I was in fifth and sixth grade! My husband and I now live in Warminster with our three-year-old black lab, Kona. You’ll hear many stories about Kona this year. He is such a silly pup! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, baking, sewing, learning about the weather, and spending time with my family and friends. I often say that if I wasn’t a teacher, I would own my own bakery, or I would be a meteorologist.
I am very excited to have you as a part of my 2020-2021 class. In room 206, we are a family. We support each other as leaders and learners while demonstrating the Paws for PRIDE character traits. We will be learning about the human body, earth’s changing surfaces, and pollution in science. We will explore ancient civilizations in social studies. We will read and enjoy many new novels in whole group and in book clubs. We’ll also have the chance to write narratives, construct research essays, and draft poetry.
I am so excited to learn and grow together this year. I can’t wait to meet and get to know more about you. It is going to be a fantastic year!!
