I can't wait to share my 30th year of teaching with you!  It all began after I graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  During my first year, I taught second grade and had the pleasure of being hired by Mrs. Tomlinson during her first year as principal of Butler Elementary.  Later, I taught fifth grade and completed my Master's degree in Education with a focus in writing at West Chester University.  Then I spent twelve years in third grade, where I earned an additional 30 credits and achieved National Board Certification. Recently, I returned to fifth grade where I earned National Board Renewal status. Teaching amazing Butler students have been a highlight of my career. I look forward to setting and accomplishing more goals with my Butler family!
