    Dear Parents,

I’m thrilled to introduce myself! My name is Jessi Gallaway and I will be your child’s special education teacher. I have been teaching at Kutz Elementary School for eight years and working with children on the spectrum for ten years. To share a little bit about myself, I received my Masters in Special Education from Arcadia University. I’m originally a Jersey Girl, growing up in Brielle N.J., five minutes from the beach.  My husband Dan and I share our home with our dog, Vinny and two cats, Lila and Pepper. We enjoy traveling, most recently visiting the Grand Canyon.

Just a little housekeeping before the beginning of the school year. Your child will only need the supplies listed from their homeroom teacher’s letter.  This information can be found their teacher’s website or within the welcome letter you will receive from them. I’ve included a parent survey to the left of your screen that can be returned on the first day of school or at supply drop off day. More details to come as we get closer to the new school year!

I look forward to working with your child. I realize that teaching them is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility. I will do my best this year to ensure that each student has a motivating and safe learning experience in the classroom. Working together to make this happen will be integral, my door is always open. If you would like to share something, please feel free to send an email or leave a message on my voicemail. I check both daily.

I look forward to being a part of your child’s team this coming school year. I know with your support, it will be a great year.

    Sincerely,

    Jessi Gallaway
