Students in Mr. Kesilman's
eighth grade art classes learned about the artist Georgia O'Keefe and her
style of painting objects to the point of abstraction. For their own
paintings, students took a three-dimensional object and enlarged it to
abstract what it was. Focusing on light, textures and values,
students painted in acrylics.
