New Britain Civic Association Commemorative Tile
The New Britain Civic Association is selling commemorative tiles again to raise funds for the Pine Valley Covered Bridge and park.  The tile has an image of the covered bridge based on a drawing by Unami art teacher Stu Kesilman.  The tiles were carved and produced by Peace Valley Tile in New Britain.
The Covered Bridge over Pine Run (Bridge #86) was built in 1842 and is one of 12 such bridges still in service in Bucks County.  The tile image and letters are sculpted in relief.  Current glaze colors are brown, beige/yellow, white, and blue (see below, although actual colors may vary slightly due to variances in kiln firings).
Checks are payable to New Britain Civic Association in the amount of a $25 donation per tile.  Tiles may be purchased at the New Britain Borough office at 45 Keeley Ave, New Britain (215 348-4586).  Please note color preferences.  Your donation helps support the Covered Bridge Park and the efforts of the New Britain Civic Association!
