Students in eighth grade art
classes were busy experimenting with paint and other media to create a modern
style self-portrait. We looked at Fauve artists, who used color for its
emotional qualities and learned how to draw a portrait in proportion,
using digital images of ourselves.
They all did a great
job of capturing an aspect of themselves!
