Self-Portraits |

For this lesson, we looked at the Renaissance artist,
Guiseppe Archimboldo, who painted fantasy portraits, using objects to
create an imaginative profile of his subject. After learning about profile
proportions and practicing with a digital image of our own profile, we
incorporated some of our favorite things into our heads. These fantastic
self-portraits were then set onto a painted poster background, each
reflecting the personality of the artist! |
