During the months of January and February, the Unami Ski club will go to Jack Frost/Big Boulder Mountains six times.

Tuesdays – January 8, 15, 29                               February 5, 12

2:15 PM – dismissal from class                

2:25 PM – Hagey bus leaves          

4:00 PM – arrival at Big Boulder                  

4:35 PM – students take lessons                 

8:00 PM – SHARP –  bus departs*             

9:45 PM – arrival at Unami                         

5:45 AM – buses loaded

6:00 AM – Hagey bus leaves

8:00 AM – arrival at Jack Frost

9:00 AM – students take lessons

4:00 PM – SHARP – bus departs*

 5:45 PM – arrival at Unami

Cost:                                                                                            Ski/Snowboard

Lift, lessons, transportation, insurance, t-shirt                          $200

Lift, lessons, rental, transportation, insurance, t-shirt              $220

 Other:

v      All Ski Club activities are part of the academic and citizenship requirements of Unami’s eligibility procedures.

v      Three busses will be filled (one for each grade), then a waiting list will be established.

v      Registration will begin on Monday, November 12, 2007. 

v      Check made payable to Unami Middle School.

v      All costs are to be paid in full by Monday, November 12, 2007.

v      Lessons are required for all participants.

v      Helmets are recommended, but not required. 

v      Wrist guards will be required for all snowboard rentals.

v      Chaperones will be Unami staff.
