Kristen Newfield-Art

Mrs. Newfield was born and raised in Chalfont Pennsylvania.  She grew up with three brothers and three sisters, family has always been extremely important to me.  In her spare time she loves to just spend time with her family.  She has two children, ages 4 and 6.  We love to go for long walks, ride bikes and spend time at the beach.

As a young child, Mrs. Newfield attended Peace Valley Elementary School, Unami Junior High and then on to graduate from Central Bucks West.  She earned an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts from Bucks County Community College and later a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from Kutztown University.  When she graduated, she began her teaching career at FDR Middle School in Bristol, Pennsylvania.  After four wonderful years in Bristol she moved on to the position she currently holds in Central Bucks.  Mrs. Newfield has been teaching in Central Bucks for nine years.  When she first started in Central Bucks she was teaching at Buckingham and Linden.  While Linden Elementary School has remained her home school, her second has changed.  She taught at Barclay eight years ago and is truly looking forward to reuniting with the Barclay community.
