Sherry Cox

Sherry Cox grew up in Southampton, PA.  She attended William Tennent High School, received her Bachelor's of Science from West Chester University, Master's of Science from Gwynedd Mercy College, and continued graduate work at Saint Joseph's University.  Counseling children and working with families is absolutely a joy in her life.  Mrs. Cox recently married her high school sweetheart and now has five grown children.  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling to far away islands and relaxing on the beach.

 Tom Brigo

Tom Brigo has been the school psychologist at Barclay Elementary School for the past twenty years. Tom spent his undergraduate years at Penn State University where he majored in the education of exceptional children. His teaching experience ranges from educating mild to severely handicapped students. Tom received a Masters Degree in Human Development and an Educational Specialists degree in School Psychology from Lehigh University. Presently he is a member of the Instructional Support Teams at Mill Creek and Barclay Elementary schools. Tom's professional career spans twenty-nine years with the Central Bucks School District.

On the weekends, Mr. Brigo enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with his wife Donna, a special education teacher, and 13-year-old daughter Gina.

Karen DeArmond-Boerner

Mrs. DeArmond-Boerner grew up in Maryland then moved to California after graduating from nursing school at the University of Maryland.  She also attended Saint Joseph University for her school nurse certification and further masters classes from Gratz College.  She has worked at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County for 9 years in California, moved to Pennsylvania after the birth of her son, then worked at an OB-GYN doctor’s office for several years before joining the Certified Nursing Team at CB.  When Mrs. Boerner is not teaching she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two children, three step-children, dog, family, and friends.  She enjoys the relaxation of the beach and the sounds of the ocean.

 
Monica Haeussler

Mrs. Haeussler grew up locally and spent her formative years in Horsham, PA. She is the mother of four, and she holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education from the College of New Jersey. She completed a Master’s Degree at Bloomsburg University and continued her education with additional graduate courses, and conferences on gifted education. As a teacher certified by the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards, she is eligible to teach in any of our states, but is delighted to be spending her teaching career in Central Bucks as part of the community of John Barclay.

When not at school, Mrs. Haeussler can be found at the beach, on a bike or trail, in a village in El Salvador or spending time with family and friends.

Kim Tumminia  

Kimberly Tumminia grew up in Bucks County.  Ms. Tumminia graduated from Temple University.  When she is not teaching she enjoys playing with her children and visiting her family and friends.

Susan Martin

Mrs. Martin grew up in Ligonier, Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University. When Mrs. Martin is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, and shopping!

 

Lindsay Hopkins

 Ms. Hopkins grew up in Langhorne and attended Archbishop Wood High School.  She has her B.S. in Psychology from Penn State and her M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from Temple and Hofstra University.  When Ms. Hopkins is not teaching she enjoys running, going to the beach and spending time with her family, friends and puggle.
