Pennsylvania People. Reading Levels

The biographies in this collection are designed for use by children.

Each biography is written on two different levels.

Level 1 Biographies are aimed at about a fourth grade reading level.
Level 2 Biographies are written at a fifth to sixth grade reading level.
These biographies include more information than those in Level 1.

The reading level of each biography is measured using the
Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level
measurement available in Microsoft Word.
