Hi and welcome to my classroom website! I am a fifth grade teacher at
                                          Doyle Elementary in the Central Bucks School District in Pennsylvania. I am currently
                                          beginning my 13th year of teaching. I truly enjoy working with children and my
                                          greatest satisfaction is watching students develop a love of learning. Doyle Elementary is
                                          a great place where I love being around such enthusiastic students, staff, and parents.

                                          I have a wonderful, supportive family. My husband, also a teacher, plays softball in an over-40 adult league and runs several Fantasy Football leagues each year. My son, currently a junior at CB South, plays basketball and lacrosse. I am usually attending his many games. He also works at the wonderful Wegman's. My daughter, an 8th grader at Tamanend Middle School, likes to play tennis, work on her scrap booking, and get lost in reality shows. Last but not least, Bailey, our golden retriever, loves to eat, sleep, and play all day.

When I'm not preparing lessons for school, I like to read, watch some comedy TV., travel, and socialize with friends. In 1987 I earned a Bachelor's Degree from West Chester University, and in 2006 I received a Master of Arts from Gratz College. I continue to participate in professional workshops that enable me to learn new techniques that will benefit my students. I love teaching and will probably never stop being a student myself!

In my classroom, I promote an atmosphere of safety, trust, and respect. I work hard to build a sense of community among my students where the ideas of teamwork and cooperation are emphasized. I believe that great things can happen when we work together! Doyle is a place where I really feel part of a strong community and part of a winning team. Thanks for stopping by!
