Extra-Curricular Activities

 

Many  Central Bucks schools offer a variety of

extra-curricular activities related to the social studies:

World Affairs Council -  Students participate in discussions of current events and in model United Nations and congressional simulations.

bullet

History Day -  Students work individually or with partners to develop projects related to the History Day theme.  Students may choose to enter these projects in regional, state and national competitions.

bullet

Student Government -  Students participate in a student council and plan activities for the student body.

bullet

Mock Trial -  Students work in teams and participate in a trial.

bullet

Business Simulation - Students work in teams and compete to make decisions for a hypothetical business ( in conjunction with the CB Chamber of Commerce ).

bullet

Kids Voting -  Students are encouraged to learn about political campaigns and to cast their "ballots" at the polling place.
