Human Development: The Child 2

      This course is designed to further explore additional topics related to the young child.  Subject matter includes teen parenting awareness, child wellness, nutrition, the importance of play and parenting skills.  Current research on brain development will be studied.  Students will have an opportunity to work frequently in a local childcare facility.

Prerequisite: 6160 Human Development: The Child 1  with a grade of C or higher, or permission of instructor.
