6162 Human Development: Adulthood
This course provides a study of human development from early adulthood through the later years. It offers a selection of topics concerning growth and stages of development. Issues that affect adults, such as engagement, marriage, divorce, consumer issues, health concerns, and gerontology, will be studied.
Service learning is incorporated into the curriculum of this course through work with local senior citizen groups.Courses 6160 (Human Development: The Child) and 6161 (Human Development: Middle Childhood through Adolescence) are NOT prerequisites for this class.
