Business and Computer Applications Department

Students who elect our courses master all the skills necessary to successfully transition to a college business degree program or to enter the workforce.

Our business courses, Accounting 1 & 2, Business Administration, Business Today, Consumer Law & Business Ethics, Marketing & Advertising Fundamentals, Personal Finance, and Sports & Entertainment Marketing, prepare students to enter the business world whether they plan to be entrepreneurs or employees.

Our technology courses, Advanced Business Computer Applications, Desktop Publishing, High School & College Computer Skills, Web Page Design and Advanced Web Design, focus on communicating and collaborating with 21st Century tools.

Department teachers have advanced degrees as well as real-world experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, health care, transportation, banking/lending, insurance, publishing and real estate, and in a variety of disciplines including finance, accounting, human resources, management, quality assurance, auditing, counseling, information management, programming and customer service.

As a department, our goal is to give students the skills needed to navigate from high school, to college and eventually to the workplace.
