Work done in committees; country assignments are done, but ideas for food are needed. There was an idea to order Model UN pens.

Review of Model Congress in order to try to improve Model UN. People participating in Model UN asked to research the countries they would like to represent.

Bake sale and website planning reminder. Format of bills and Model Congress procedures introduced. Debate about a mock bill.

Model Congress date set for December 9th. T-Shirt design is awaiting approval; new ideas are still welcome. Planning for website begins; suggestions are encouraged. Debate about the danger of Iran's nuclear weapons program.

Planning for November 10th bake sale and making WAC T-Shirts. Debate about possible 2008 election candidates and about the possibility of a woman president in the near future.

An email list was collected and information about the Amnesty International Debate Tournament was given. Discussion of possible charities that the club can contribute to, which ended in a vote that picked Heifer International.

Officers of the club were introduced. Community service ideas and rules of debates were discussed. There was a debate on government aid after Hurricane Katrina.
